Happy New Year! 2018 was a year of love, celebration, experiments, personal growth, food, wine, and reading. We adopted a new family member, our oldest daughter got married, I did a couple of 30-day experiments to see how it would affect my health, and I READ. Guys, I read and learned so much. I learned how to knit and also decided to paint in order to get in touch with my artistic, creative side. I also gave this blog a new name, theme and makeover!
I’m not making any formal resolutions for 2019. Instead, I want to just continue on the path that I’m on right now. Taking care of myself, and accepting and loving myself for who I am, rather than focus on my flaws. I want to try new things, go on adventures, and spend more time with family and friends. AND WE HAVE ANOTHER WEDDING TO GET READY FOR! Kayla is getting married in October and we are so excited!
So without further ado, here are some of my favorite moments of 2018 in photos:
May 2019 bring you good health, love, laughter and joy, and may your glass always be full!

Wow! You look awesome and what an inspiration! I knitted one dishcloth a few years back but I didn’t continue and now I’ve probably forgotten how to. I did sign up with a friend for a class on how to hand knit a chunky blanket. I love your paintings! Happy New Year!

Aww, thanks Melissa! I have a long way to go, both with the knitting and the painting, but they are both things that I enjoy doing so I’m looking forward to lots of practice! 🙂 Happy New Year!
