Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there! I started out my morning with a low-impact dance aerobics workout and then I made myself this awesome breakfast of tofu scramble and avocado toast with a side of fresh strawberries! Get in my belly!
This afternoon, my daughters and I are going to my favorite winery for a wine glass painting session. Can’t wait to hang out with my girls and enjoy some wine and girls’ time!
I completed week three of LIIFT4 and it’s going well. It’s challenging and I often have to do the modified exercises, but I increased my weights this week and I’ve consistently been doing the workouts in the mornings. Have I mentioned how much I absolutely love Beachbody on Demand? I feel like I’m at the gym, except there are no crowds, no sharing of other people’s germs, no sitting around and waiting to use a piece of equipment, no infringement of my personal space – all things that I hated about going to the gym. But I missed the gym workouts so much! And now I have them back and I feel excited about working out again, which is awesome!
While the workout program went well, the nutritional program could have gone better. I thought I had my meals planned well, but I found myself going off plan way too many times. My one cheat day turned into several. I have planned much better for this next week, so I hope that things go much more smoothly.
