Guys, I completed LIIFT4 for the third time!! I don’t think I’ve ever completed an entire workout program from start to finish, let alone three times in a row! I feel fantastic and my body has changed as well. Here are the final results:
- I lost 13 pounds.
- I lost 2 inches around my waist. My waist was the only thing that I measured before I started these workouts because that’s where I felt I had gained the most weight. Looking back, I wish I had done all of my measurements because I know there are changes in my arms, legs, and booty area.
- My muffin top is gone, as well as the belly pooch that I could never seem to get rid of.
- My strength improved! I started with 2- and 5-lb weights and progressed to 15- and 20-lb weights. Also, my core strength improved significantly as well.
In addition to the workouts, the nutritional plan that came with the workout program, in addition to adding Shakeology and the Performance pre- and post-workout supplements made a huge difference in my diet. It’s helped me significantly with portion control and cravings. I’ve been able to cut back on the junk food and alcohol. Now that my husband is on the program, also, we’ve been eating out less and no longer keep any kind of tempting unhealthy snacks in the house.
Here is my before/after photo. I’m starting to get some definition in my abs and arms which is so exciting!
So what’s next? I’m definitely not done challenging myself and I know that I’ve only just begun with what I can do, so tomorrow I’m starting a new Beachbody workout program called Morning Meltdown 100. I’m committing myself to do 100 workouts that will consist of both cardio and strength training. The plan is to do 5 workouts a week, so I should be able to complete this program in about 5 months.

I think it was the way the workouts were structured. Every workout was different, so I never got bored, even doing the program 3 times! Four workouts a week for 30 minutes was so doable for me,, and I really loved the trainer, Joel. He was encouraging, funny, and motivating! But I think the biggest thing was seeing the results I was getting – it kept me motivated and I wanted to keep going to see how far I could progress. I’m really excited about this new workout program, too! 🙂

4 weekly workouts for 30 minutes is very doable. And wow did you get serious results. Is it not available through Beach Body on Demand? Or is it available on DVD? Do you think it will become part of your routine going forward?

This workout program is available on Beachbody on Demand. I think the only workouts available on DVD are the older workout programs.
Yes, I feel like I’ll be re-visiting this program a lot!
